Your partners sell.
Your Stripe pays them.
Launch an affiliate program without adding a payment processor. Growth attributes customers server-side, computes tiered commissions, and turns approved payouts into Stripe transfers from your own balance.

affiliate Express account
You already have partners. They are simply unpaid, untracked, and going quiet one by one.
An unpaid referrer refers once.
The first recommendation is free. The second one is a decision, and people only make it when the first was acknowledged — in money, on time, with a number they can verify themselves.
Affiliate programs rarely die of strategy. They die of operations: a spreadsheet of codes, a monthly reconciliation nobody wants to own, a bank transfer done by hand, and a partner who has to ask twice.
Five steps, in the order you will actually do them.
- 01
Connect Stripe
Growth imports the customers and subscriptions of the account you already run, then keeps them in sync through webhooks. Yearly plans are normalised so MRR per partner means something.
subscription sweep on import · live webhook sync - 02
Create the program
Choose the commission rate, its duration — once, one year, or lifetime — and the tiers that unlock by referred revenue or referred customers. Each tier pays a fixed amount or a percentage.
one program per offer · tiers per program - 03
Invite the partners
Each affiliate gets their own dashboard, a referral link, a readable code, and a Stripe Express onboarding flow. You never store their bank details.
stripe connect express · identity handled by stripe - 04
Send three events
Your backend posts click, signup and payment with an organization API key. Because the match happens server-side on click ID, visitor ID or code, a delayed or cross-device signup still lands on the right partner.
POST /api/v1/affiliate/click · /signup · /payment - 05
Approve the payouts
Commissions accrue per partner and per customer. An owner or admin approves, and Growth creates the Stripe transfer. Both sides see the same reference afterwards.
approval required · nothing leaves without it

What your partner actually sees.
A program only compounds if the person promoting you can answer their own questions without emailing you.
Their own dashboard
Links, clicks, referred customers, pending commission and payout history — scoped to them, live, without a monthly report to assemble.
Links and codes
Short referral links and human-readable codes resolve to the same attribution record, so partners can use whichever fits the channel.
Express onboarding
Stripe collects identity and bank details directly. You keep no payout method, and payouts fail loudly instead of silently.
Tier progress
Partners see the threshold that unlocks the next rate. It is the cheapest motivation you will ever buy.
Manual recovery
When someone was clearly brought in outside the tracked path, attribute the customer by hand. The trail records who decided it and when.
Partner email
Recruit, onboard and re-activate affiliates with sequences that run from the same workspace as the commission data.
Start on free. Upgrade when one
partner out-earns the plan.
Tracking, attribution, tiers and Stripe Connect payouts are on every plan, including the free one. What changes is how many affiliates and how much attributed revenue you can carry.

Yes, but.
We already use another affiliate tool.
Then the concept is not the question. Growth differs on two points: payouts are Stripe transfers from your own balance rather than a platform wallet, and partner email lives in the same workspace. Import from Stripe and run both in parallel until you trust the numbers.
Our signups happen days after the click.
Attribution is computed server-side from the click ID, visitor ID or referral code your backend forwards. A signup on another device, a week later, still matches the partner who earned it.
We do not want a second payment processor.
There is not one. Customer payments stay on your Stripe account for their whole life. Growth reads that account and writes transfers to it — money never passes through us.
Who decides when partners get paid?
You do. Commissions accrue automatically, but a transfer only happens when an owner or admin approves the payout, on whatever cadence you choose.
We have no developer time this month.
Setting up the program, tiers and partners requires no code at all. The only engineering work is three documented POST calls, guarded by an organization API key.
Can we run several programs at once?
Yes, from the Starter plan up. Each program carries its own rate, duration and tiers inside the same organization, so a lifetime deal and a one-off bounty can coexist.

Connect Stripe, create a program, invite your three loudest customers. The free plan does not expire, and nothing moves until you approve it.
